SUMMER MATCHA SMOOTHIE BOWL

My new obsession.
Full of heart-healthy plant-based fats, adaptogenic herbs, prebiotics from banana and probiotics from coconut yoghurt and fermented mushroom powder to feed and heal the gut, tocos and marine collagen for a beauty boost, greens for liver loving and extra fibre, and matcha green tea powder for a antioxidant boost like no other. These summer matcha smoothie bowls are everything.
Summer Matcha Smoothie Bowl
1 frozen banana (chopped before freezing)
1 tray of ice-cubes
1 tsp organic maca powder
1 tsp cordyceps mushroom powder (reishi or lions mane would work well too)
1 heaping tsp Misty Day Matcha Beauty Brew
1 cup organic spinach
1 heaping tsp tocos (Available from Misty Day)
1/2 tsp organic cinnamon (non organic is irrigated and devoid of nutrients)
1 Tbsp Coconut Yoghurt (Plain with no sugar or gum)
1 Tbsp Forty Thieves Macadamia, Vanilla + Maple butter
1/2 cup filtered water + extra to thin to preference
Bee pollen, freeze dried berries, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, chia seeds, macadamia butter drizzle, granola, sprouted buckwheat, toasted coconut flakes, rose petals, crushed pistachios
- Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until everything is incorporated and smooth*, yet thick and still cold.
- Pour into your favourite bowl and top with any of the optional toppings from the above list and eat with a spoon.
* Over blending will naturally warm the mix due to the friction of the high speed metal blades and also kill off necessary live cultures and nutrients so minimally blend!
